Summer Sundays
Welcome
Grace, mercy and peace
from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ
be with you
and also with you.
Lord, speak to us
that we may hear your word.
Move among us
that we may behold your glory.
Receive our prayers
that we may learn to trust you. Amen.
Songs
Confession and Absolution
Let us return to the Lord our God and say to him:
Father,
we have sinned against heaven and against you.
We are not worthy to be called your children.
We turn to you again.
Have mercy on us,
bring us back to yourself
as those who once were dead
but now have life through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
May the God of love and power
forgive us and free us from our sins,
heal and strengthen us by his Spirit,
and raise us to new life in Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Affirmation of Faith
Let us declare our faith in God.
We believe in God the Father,
from whom every family
in heaven and on earth is named.
We believe in God the Son,
who lives in our hearts through faith and fills us with his love.
We believe in God the Holy Spirit,
who strengthens us
with power from on high.
We believe in one God;
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Prayers
Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
Amen.
Offertory Prayer
Heavenly Father, you have given us riches beyond measure.
We can only return a fraction of what we owe you;
but we ask, Lord, that you will bless our offerings
and help us to use them wisely in your service and for your glory.
Amen

Closing Prayers
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Send us out to live lives that glorify you
Help us to be people of peace
Empower us to recognize your call
In our families
In our communities
In our workplaces and schools
In our churches and in our world.
Amen
May the Lord bless us and keep us.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon us and be gracious to us.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon us and give us peace;
so the blessing of God, the father, the son
and the Holy Spirit be with us
and those we love, today and always.
Amen.
