I encourage any family or individual arriving in a new country to find a Christian Church - whether of a particular denomination, a different one or none. This forms the basis of community life and a sense of belonging. We joined St. Paul's in its third ever service, in our first year living overseas. As a young couple from different Christian traditions and with two small girls, we were keen to find a church to call home. Little did we know how important the life of a Christian community would be to us for nearly 30 years as we moved around, returning several times to Belgium where we are now permanently based. Love, acceptance, the challenge of the Gospel, family support (we had 2 more children), teaching, a faith based community, encouragement and opportunities to serve all marked different phases of our involvement with St. Paul's. Thank you to all those who made it possible to continue our journey of faith.
